ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Village of Corrales is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to act in the capacity of the Deputy Clerk, under general supervision of the Village Clerk, to provide a wide variety of routine clerical and administrative support functions for the Village. Duties include assistance in preparation of correspondence, council packets, council minutes, and answering central telephone system, maintaining office forms and procedures, assists with municipal elections, administering and overseeing the Village website, and a variety of record keeping and administrative functions, also performs certain essential duties as requested.

 Special Requirements: Must have a valid state driver’s license or ability to obtain one. Must be bondable.

ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN

The Corrales Community Library is accepting applications for the position of Technical Services Librarian, at the Village Administrative offices, 4324 Corrales Road, Corrales, New Mexico.  The position is a permanent part-time position of 35 hours per week.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicant must have a High School diploma or GED and two years of post-secondary education with one year of experience working in a library setting, and a working knowledge of current web technologies and library automation systems. The work schedule includes evenings and weekends.

The ability to assist patrons with computer literacy and to develop related programming is desirable.    Must have a valid state driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

MAINTENANCE WORKER

The Village of Corrales is seeking applications for a Maintenance Worker. This position performs a variety of unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled maintenance work. Operates a variety of heavy equipment in the construction operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of Village streets, drainage facilities, waste water facilities, parks, buildings, and grounds.

Knowledge of heavy equipment operations to include grader and water tanker, facilities, materials, methods and procedures used in maintenance, construction and repair activities.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid State Driver’s license and CDL certification with tanker endorsement. Employee must qualify for coverage under the Village’s motor vehicle liability insurance.
