On Wed. 03/20 a resident reported responding to a pop-up on her computer and being scammed into purchasing gift cards and providing the card numbers to the con artists. Take a few moments to review the internet crime information on the FBI website and please share this information with your more vulnerable relatives, friends and neighbors.

On Sat. 03/23 a citizen reported that a fraudulent check, which had been drawn against her account, was cashed out-of-state. The complainant does not know how her information had been compromised. Please stay vigilant about safeguarding your personal and financial data both on paper and online.
