FUGITIVE UPDATE
While checking surrounding areas shortly after Noon today (WED 01/31) CPD located Murder suspect Charles Kauffmann on Eagle Ranch RD near Paseo Del Norte in Albuquerque. APD was notified and CPD took Kauffmann into custody without incident. Kauffmann was booked into the Sandoval County Detention Center on the outstanding warrant for Murder (Open Count), Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon and Tampering With Evidence.
